The Cooperative Memorial Society (CMS) was established in 1966 as a member-owned cooperative dedicated to offering a simple, dignified alternative to the elaborate and increasingly expensive services often promoted by the conventional funeral industry. We support our members with resources to help them record their final wishes and essential information for end-of-life planning. The greatest value, however, is the peace of mind that comes from knowing their end-of-life plans are in place, easing the burden on loved ones during what can be a challenging time.
